The daily tasks can be accomplished in any order the player desires, and the game also includes one task that is activated only when Postal Dude urinates, in which the player is tasked with getting treatment for gonorrhea after Postal Dude discovers he has the infection. The objective of Postal 2 is to finish all of the tasks throughout the week, and the player can accomplish these tasks in any way they wish, be it as peacefully and civilly as possible, or as violently and chaotically as possible. The game's levels are split into days of the week starting Monday and finishing Friday.Īt the beginning of each day, Postal Dude is given several tasks to accomplish, such as "get milk", " confess sins", and other seemingly mundane tasks. Postal Dude lives in a dilapidated caravan trailer on land behind a house in the small town of Paradise, Arizona, with his nagging wife, who is identified in the credits as simply "The Bitch". In Postal 2, the player takes on the role of the Postal Dude, a tall and thin red-headed man with a goatee, sunglasses, a black leather trench coat, and a T-shirt with a grey alien's face printed on it. It was followed by a sequel, Postal III, in December 2011, and another, Postal 4: No Regerts in April 2022. The game received attention for its violent gameplay, and was responsible for multiple controversies. Postal 2 remains continually updated, with a new expansion pack titled Paradise Lost released in April 2015. It has received several expansion packs, and in December 2003, a multiplayer expansion was released, titled Postal 2: Share the Pain. The game received a mixed reception from critics upon its release and has gained a cult following. The player navigates the game's map to carry out his errands, with player choice having an effect on the setting. Set in the fictional Arizona town of Paradise, Postal 2 follows the life of "The Postal Dude", who must carry out mundane tasks throughout an in-game week, with the player deciding how violently or passively he will react to various situations. Unlike the first installment, Postal 2 is played from a first-person perspective, rather than an isometric perspective. Postal 2, as well as its predecessor, has received notoriety for its high levels of violence, stereotyping, and black comedy. It is the sequel to the 1997 game Postal and was released for Microsoft Windows in April 2003, macOS in April 2004 and Linux in April 2005. Luckily, the process of recovering deleted emails from a Mac doesn’t require advanced tech knowledge and is pretty quick and straightforward. So if you want to only read the emails, it is best to use an email client to access your emails. You can open the files directly through Finder, but keep in mind that it will be a bit complicated to read your emails in such a way since they will contain both the email content and full source code in text. Click any such folder and you’ll see that the emails inside are also grouped into separate folders according to their type (drafts, sent messages, etc.). The folders named with a random line of numbers contain your email data. Once you open this folder, you’ll see that all your emails are grouped into separate subfolders. To open your emails, click the folder named Vx (instead of x, there will be a corresponding version number). This way, you’ll be redirected to a file archive with all your email messages. 8/13/2023 0 Comments Lastpass changes free![]() One of the features of LastPass that many people enjoy is the ability to store your passwords, monitor them for leaks, generate passwords, and view passwords across platforms. Microsoft Edgeīefore getting into Authenticator, I’ll touch on Microsoft Edge first. All passwords for a Microsoft Account in Edge won’t show unless you know the device or Microsoft Account password for which Edge is running on, usually secured via Windows Hello or a PIN. As for 2-factor authentication in Microsoft, you can set this up via your Microsoft Account and Authenticator, so that your passwords don’t end up in the wrong hands. Microsoft also uses encryption, too, which they talk about here. Multifactor authentication in LastPass also adds extra security to your LastPass account by requiring a second login step before authorizing access to your vault. LastPass says it uses AES-256 bit encryption with PBKDF2 SHA-256 and salted hashes to ensure complete security in the cloud. Then, there’s encryption and Two Factor Authentication. ![]() We spoke about this previously, but it’s an entirely different app. Edge and Authenticator do not have this, but Microsoft Teams for personal use does. If you’re not locked into the world of Microsoft, this might be an issue for you.įinally, LastPass has a feature that lets you keep Digital Records such as passports, driver’s licenses, WiFi Passwords, etc. That is unlike LastPass which works with a master LastPass password. Importantly, Edge and Authenticator depend on a Microsoft Account for syncing so you’ll need a Microsoft Account to sync between devices. Obviously, with Edge, your stored passwords from the web are locked into being stored Edge itself, unless you export as a CSV file that you can import into other web browsers (there’s a Chrome extension, though.) There’s a way around this, as you can just switch to using Edge on all your devices (since Edge is multi-platform.) Additionally, if you pair Edge with Authenticator, you can see your passwords directly in the Authenticator app on iOS and Android. You don’t need to “switch” your web browser to use it. It works in all the major web browsers as an extension, and as an app that will let you see saved passwords on iOS and Android. ![]() ![]() It’s important to note that LastPass is designed for different web browsers. I want each of us-you, me and all of the stewards who read this post-to hear two words when we meet our Master: “Well done!” Gary G. I share this exhortation today with Pauline enthusiasm not because of what I want from you but because of what I want for you. Finally, let us be faithful with regard to the stewardship of our gifts so that God’s manifold grace will be made known to the world through us. Let us resolve to use the gifts we have received to serve others. Let us celebrate the good news that God has given each of us a gift, a spiritual gift, that is rooted in His grace. I am writing this blog post today because the same desire Paul had for Timothy I share for each student and for you! Just as Timothy’s grandmother, Lois, and mother, Eunice, exhibited sincere faith, Paul wanted Timothy to be found faithful. This may explain why Paul exhorts Timothy to “fan to flame” the gift he had received (2 Timothy 1:3-6). 1 Corinthians 12:7), God’s work is not thwarted, but rather, we miss out on the privilege of participating. When we don’t use our gifts, which have been given to us for the common good (cf. When we use our various spiritual gifts to serve others, God’s grace is illustrated in various ways. This is perhaps the most motivating point. (3) God’s grace is revealed through our faithfulness. When we play the specific parts designed for each of us, we function together as the Body of Christ. Why should we discern how God has gifted each of us? This helps us determine our respective roles in God’s kingdom. In parallel passages like 1 Corinthians 12 and Romans 12:4-8, the Apostle Paul gives us lists of these gifts of grace. He desires that disciples follow His example and are known for their service (cf. With this declaration Peter is merely echoing the instructions of Jesus to the twelve disciples. Peter also emphasizes what to do with whatever gift we have received. (2) Faithful stewards use their gifts to serve others. This is the basis for another NT theme: “participation in the gospel.” In other words, because each of us has a spiritual gift, we all have a role to play in God’s kingdom. What matters to Peter (and to us) is not what gift each person has received but that each and every follower of Christ has received a gift from God that reflects His grace. Matthew Henry notes in his commentary on this verse, “whatever ability we have of doing good we must own it to be the gift of God and ascribe it to His grace.” ![]() The Greek word for “gift” used here (χάρισμα rather than δόμα) reveals that Peter believes these are spiritual gifts or reflections of God’s “grace” (χάρις). (1) God has spiritually gifted each and every follower of Christ. ![]() It also offers at least three insights for us today. This statement helped early church Christians know how to live so that their lives (both individually and collectively) would glorify God. “Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms” (1 Peter 4:10). Few NT passages provide more clear instructions on this topic than one profound statement of Peter that was directed to Christ-followers exiled throughout the Roman Empire. This blog post focuses on our stewardship of spiritual gifts. Every Christ-follower is a steward of spiritual gifts and material goods to make known the eternal gospel. I like to summarize our responsibilities as stewards in God’s kingdom with three words: gifts, goods, and gospel. My role is to teach on the topic of biblical stewardship, a central theme in Scripture and theological education. I am privileged to be a part of the Kairos Project teaching team.
